Our Single Hand-held IRIS device's brand is “Alkaid”. Alkaid means a bluish-white star of the second magnitude that marks the end of the handle of the Big Dipper. We have created Alkaid brand to be the “Handle” as to handle iris related markets. Also, because Alkaid is the starting point when drawing the Big Dipper, we wanted Alkaid to be the starting point of our global business and become a true leader in the industry.
As a never before seen Single Hand-held IRIS device in the biometric market, this future-oriented device identifies iris of users from book-reading distance. By using our self-developed 5MP camera modules and high intensity IR-LED modules, our device can capture IRIS in high resolution without being sensitive to surrounding light.
